Jennifer Macik, MSN, PHN, RN services under the direction of the OHC President as the Chief Nursing Officer, she has the privilege of managing the supervision and oversight and facilitates direct and/or indirect, safe and effective professional nursing care in the Medical-Surgical, OB and ER, Hospice, Infection Prevention, Surgical Services, Pharmacy, Outpatient infusions and injections as well as oversees the daily operations of the three OHC Ambulatory Clinics. Oversees nursing care to a wide-ranging population from infant to geriatric. Encourages professional education and acts as a teacher and a resource for clinical practice. Ensures productivity and profitability of all assigned departments. Participates in long-range, organizational strategic planning, resource allocation, marketing of services, physician relations and attends defined meetings. Identifies, resolves, and provides follow-up on problems involving patients and department operations. Works collaboratively with the health care team, is customer-focused and strives to meet department cohesiveness. Jennifer has been a nurse since 2001 and most of that time has been in the hospital setting with a few years in home care. Jennifer also has specialized training as a SANE Nurse.
