Vice President of Care System Growth and Partnerships
Amy Dewane is the Vice President of Care System Growth and Partnerships at HealthPartners. With over twenty years of health industry experience, Amy is responsible for leading and facilitating the development and execution of an enterprise-wide care group growth strategy. Amy has a broad range of strategic growth responsibilities including care delivery growth and market development, growth planning and analysis, and strategic partnerships and collaborations. While working across the integrated system, Amy brings an external view and needs-based approach to positioning HealthPartners for success. By providing overall strategic direction, critical thinking and guidance to make sound business decisions, and matching organizational capabilities to internal or external growth opportunities, she brings value to the forefront and alignment with the organization’s objectives and mission in focus.
Amy balances her time between externally working with customers, partners, and the community while internally focusing on the development of care group plans that yield a deeper level of engagement with current patients and members as well as advancing strategies that will attract new consumers and meet unmet demand.
Prior to joining HealthPartners in August of 2015, Amy led the development and deployment of strategic growth priorities for the Strategy and Business Development functions of CHI, a large national Catholic health care system, based out of Denver and held enterprise-wide and regional Growth and Market Development responsibilities at Aurora Health Care, a large regional health care delivery system in Wisconsin. Amy has also spent time working with the small group sales division of Humana Insurance Company and has five years of non-health industry experience.
Amy is a Certified Healthcare Insurance Executive (CHIE) through the America’s Health Insurance Plans through Kellogg School of Management (at Northwestern) and holds a Fellowship with the American College of Healthcare Executives, (FACHE). She graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a Masters of Business Administration and holds undergraduate degrees in Business and Marketing from the same university.
