At Olivia Hospital & Clinic, we combine top OB-GYN expertise with a warm, comfortable environment. Here you’ll find a care team that treats you like family and puts your comfort first. Many of our team members live in our communities, often giving us the privilege of knowing the people who walk through our doors. It’s one of the reasons our patients say our care feels so personal.

We can help you with annual wellness visits, family planning services, birth control, cancer screenings, prenatal and postpartum care, breastfeeding support and so much more.

Our team works closely with the experts at Hutchinson Health to support your pregnancy every step of the way. We’ll care for you before and after your pregnancy at Olivia Hospital & Clinic, and you’ll deliver at the state-of-the-art Hutchinson Health BirthCare Center. From preventive care to pregnancy support and beyond, we’re here for you every step of the way.

Partnering for your best pregnancy care

The care team at Olivia Hospital & Clinic works closely with Hutchinson Health to provide the best of both worlds to you and baby. Our family practice doctors, specialized nurses and certified lactation consultants provide expert prenatal and postpartum care. And when it’s time to deliver, you’ll enjoy the comfortable, nurturing environment of the BirthCare Center in Hutchinson.

Your voice. Your choice. Your partner.

From prenatal labs to breastfeeding support, we’re by your side throughout pregnancy and beyond.

Exceptional prenatal care will help you and baby start a strong, healthy life together. You’ll see one of our Olivia Hospital and Clinic providers until you’re 36 weeks pregnant. We’ll provide prenatal labs, ultrasounds, nutritional consults, prenatal classes, nonstress tests (NSTs) and more.

We know that establishing a relationship with the team caring for you during labor and delivery can help you feel more comfortable. That’s why we’ll help you transition to the OB-GYN team at Hutchinson Health around 28-30 weeks.

The experts at Hutchinson Health will care for you from 36 weeks until birth. We partner closely with them to provide you continued support, as needed. In some cases, this means that you’ll continue to have NSTs and biophysical profiles (BPPs) with your team at Olivia Hospital.

When it’s time for baby to arrive, you’ll deliver at the Hutchinson Health BirthCare Center where you’ll find private suites with all the comforts of home, including large whirlpool tubs. The care team at Hutchinson Health will work with you to make your vision for labor and delivery a reality. From several pain management options to modern amenities you and your family can enjoy, your baby’s first days will be special ones.

After you welcome baby into the world, you’ll return to Olivia Hospital & Clinic for postpartum care. We’ll care for your body and mind, help you adjust to caring for a newborn, and provide breastfeeding and nutritional support.

If you or baby need specialty care from a maternal fetal medicine (MFM) doctor, you may need to visit the specialists at Hutchinson Health.

Breastfeeding Support

Research shows that breastfeeding has many benefits for both babies and mothers. But breastfeeding can be an adjustment. It’s our goal to make sure you and your baby get a good start on breastfeeding before you leave the birth center, and that you have our continued support as you adjust to life at home.

We provide both prenatal and postpartum lactation services for patients in Olivia and the surrounding areas. For more information about breastfeeding support or our Outpatient Lactation Clinic, please call 800-916-1836.

Safe Place for Newborns

Olivia Hospital & Clinic is a designated Safe Place for Newborns. Minnesota’s Safe Place for Newborns law provides a healthy and anonymous path for mothers to safely give up their newborns. No judgement, no names. Please call us with any questions at 800-916-1836.
